Review – Sigh – 2012 – In Somniphobia

Band:  Sigh
Album: In Somniphobia
Year: 2012
Tracks: 11
Label:Candlelight Records
Review:  This is Sigh’s ninth studio album.  ”In Somniphobia” has a mind blowing array of intricately wound together sounds.  Some of these include; 70s rock, black metal, dance, fusion and jazz and some traditional sounding Italian passages.  The album itself is split up into several parts.  Two of these including a seven part “Lucid Nightmare” section and the last track entitled “Equale” in three parts.  In conclusion, this is a rock version of a Danny Elfman dream.

Score: 9/10
