Review – Ministry – 2012 – Relapse

Band:  Ministry
Album: Relapse
Year: 2012
Tracks: 11
Label:13th Planet Records
Review:  After the big old “Ministry” send off in 2007 they decided that retirement wasn’t for them.  So, what happened?  Who knows but they are back with a new album.  ”Relapse” sounds just like their last four albums in terms of production, song writing arrangements and style however this time there is not much in the way of variation.  It’s great to have more of the same however this is a little on the safe side and repeats itself.  The first half of the album is more uptempo while the latter leans towards a very tame experimental and melodic side.

Score: 6/10
